Monday Member Spotlight: Emmy Piatt

Emmy Piatt

Meet Emmy Piatt, Branch Manager at the Lane Public Libraries - Hamilton Location, is a daring adventurer with a passion for unraveling mysteries and a love for all things vintage. While her skydiving experiences may be limited, Emmy's thirst for excitement extends far beyond the thrill of the freefall. With a collection of captivating mysteries on her bookshelf and her faithful companion Agatha Christie by her side, Emmy's fascination with the unknown knows no bounds. Not only does she have a keen eye for collecting 1950s-1980s home decor, furniture, and clothing, but she also possesses a remarkable talent for assisting others in their quests. If Emmy were to write a memoir, it would undoubtedly be titled "Accidental Librarian: How Solving Mysteries for People Became a Career." Emmy thrives on the adrenaline rush of the hunt and finds immense satisfaction in helping individuals find what they're searching for. When she's not engrossed in her detective work, you'll find Emmy happily exploring the aisles of her favorite store, Ohio Valley Antique Mall.
